Papers are limited to a maximum of 6 pages. Peer review is provided. Conference attendance is required for publication. Posters will be accepted, but not reviewed.
Courses will include introduction to salt water intrusion, modeling, and field training. Specifc course content, instructors, and dates are being finalized.
Similar to other SWIMs, technical sessions will focus on the current and evolving topics of saltwater/freshwater interaction along coasts and inland areas.
A poster session will be held Monday night, with refreshments.
Two field trips will held on Wednesday. Pick your preference.
A conference dinner will be held Thursday night.
Yes, as always, a football (soccer) game will be held Tuesday night, across the street in Mission Bay Park.
The SWIM2020 venue is small, intimate, and conducive to meeting each other. Or you can walk a couple hundred meters to the Pacific Ocean, where you can swim and body surf; walk along the boardwalk; stop in a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars; and enjoy an historical wooden roller coaster.
